Deutsche Beteiligungs AG was honoured as best communicator among all S-Dax companies in this year’s Investors' Darling competition. For the third time since 2015 and 2016, DBAG achieved first place in the ranking for companies of comparable size. In the overall ranking of all 160 Dax, MDax, SDax and TecDax companies DBAG occupied 20th place and outpaced more than half of the Dax companies. DBAG’s CFO Susanne Zeidler received the award at a ceremony in Frankfurt/Main on Wednesday. In the previous year, DBAG was placed third in the S-Dax and 14th in the overall ranking.
In the course of the competition HHL Leipzig Graduate School of management analyses various aspects of the capital market communication of German companies on behalf of manager magazin. Investors' Darling is considered the most comprehensive analysis of its kind in Germany. In 2017, DBAG again achieved high scores with its annual report, half-year financial statement and quarterly statements as well as with its Investor Relations activities. The analysis also takes into account the feedback from the capital market, based on a survey of analysts and fund managers as well as on the performance of the DBAG share.
This year, the jury highlighted DBAG’s transparent communication in the course of the recent determination of an accounting error by BaFin, which relates to the 2014/2015 consolidated financial statement and resulted in a change in accounting method. Furthermore, the jury emphasized the highly consistent quality of DBAG’s capital market communication
