According to an announcement by Deutsche Börse last Saturday, 6 March 2021, Deutsche Beteiligungs AG shares will no longer be included in the S-Dax index, with effect from 22 March 2021. Three days prior to this announcement, Deutsche Börse had reported on changes to its indices without mentioning DBAG shares at the time. Deutsche Börse cited “data discrepancies” as a reason for this most recent correction.
DBAG shares will be removed from the S-Dax by way of a ‘regular exit’, reflecting the fact that it was ranked at no. 171 in terms of order book turnover at the end of February 2021 – which is not sufficient for inclusion in the index.
Deutsche Börse will conduct its next scheduled review of prerequisites for S-Dax inclusion at the beginning of September.
“We regret that DBAG shares will no longer be included in the S-Dax. At the same time, and as a matter of course, we will continue to comply with all requirements of the Prime Standard, which sets out the highest transparency standards”, DBAG’s CFO Susanne Zeidler commented on the news.
