Fischer TireTech, Burgkunstadt (Germany)

Mechanical engineering for the tire industry

Profile

Fischer TireTech (formerly Karl Eugen Fischer) is the world's leading manufacturer and developer of cutting and extrusion systems for the tire industry. Fischer TireTech machines are used by tire manufacturers to produce rubber-coated steel cord and fabric plies for tires. These layers are extruded and cut with the highest precision, which means that they have a significant influence on the shape, driving stability and crucial performance characteristics of the tire.

For decades, Fischer TireTech has been working closely with its customers to further develop its machines and is the preferred partner for over 40 tire manufacturers worldwide. The latest innovations include, for example, RFID laminating systems and advanced automation solutions for tire production.

Development and production take place at the headquarters in Burgkunstadt (Upper Franconia) and in Trencín (Slovakia), where the majority of the more than 600 employees work. Sales and service companies are located in the USA, India and China.

Fischer TireTech machines are essential for optimising the production process in tyre manufacturing and set technological standards. They are characterised, for example, by the highest precision and minimal material losses – decisive success factors in the industry. With comprehensive engineering expertise, the company adapts the machines to the respective customer needs.

In addition to new machines, Fischer TireTech offers a broad after-sales portfolio ranging from service and spare parts to comprehensive retrofits.
